Excellent Tool For Jewelers, I bought this drill for drilling 20 gauge nickel and sterling silver pieces of jewelry. It has exceeded my expectations. If you follow the directions and let the tool do the job, will be pleasantly surprised that such a device handy, you can add to your workbench for low cost. My husband, an engineer, was surprised how good, too. But I had to ask for his help in the assembly because the assembly directions were not the greatest, and I had never done anything like this before. He had no problem with that, though. The department of metal in which I took lessons with footpedals Gesswein agreement and a tool for a Foredom drill press, and it is difficult, hard to control, vibrates like crazy, and is a little 'afraid to use because the installation is work is needed to sit on a bench. If the problem goes flying, there's no place to go for, but in the face, because the unit is set up against a wall, and are about to face with the drill. Not fun. With my Dremel Rotary Tool Work Station, I could concentrate on my wooden bench on headroom. This is a much more healthy, and safety glasses, I feel quite convinced that I had control of both the drill and I'm drilling in metal, even very small pieces. I have not noticed any shimmy or wandering of the drill. Go straight down exactly where I want to go. I strongly recommend jewelers interested in holes for eyes, rivets, or links to any kind of cold.
